The most common complaint we hear from customers with LED tv's is a problem of sound but no picture, or what is known as no backlights. This will generally leave the screen totally black but the sound quite normal. If this problem occurs it requires the screen to be stripped down and have new LED'S fitted, consequently this repair cannot be carried out on your premises. This type of repair is generally more cost effective to be carried out then replacing the Tv.

If you experience this problem we are happy to call out to your premises and give you a quote to have this repair carried out. The length of time to complete this repair will vary depend on the make and model of the Tv, plus the availability of the replacement LEDs. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this without obligation.

Please note we cannot repair damaged screens. These need to be replaced and is not normally cost effective to carry out.

PCB Electronics has many years of experience in repairing most makes of Plasma, LCD and LED Tv's. Initially an engineer will call to your property to try and diagnose the problem and if possible give you an approximate cost of the repair.

If possible we will attempt to carry out the repair on your premises however because of the complexity of modern day Tv's and the amount of different things that go wrong with them this may not be practical in which case the TV will be taken to a fully equipped and secure workshop to carry out the repair.

Due to the wide variation in the makes and models of modern Tv's it is not practical to carry all the different parts on stock, this obviously means there can be a degree in waiting for parts to arrive in and consequently a delay in the repair being completed. From experience we have found this delay varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Because of this we will do our best to give you a rough time period of how long a repair will take but unfortunately that repair time can not be guaranteed.
